The next day, job number two contacted me to see if I'd change my mind if offered more money. So that's rather nice to know that they did want me lots. But as lovely as they were the travel time was still the big killer.
Other stuff of note, I've started the first sleeve of MrTops' jumper. The cabling seems to be behaving itself. I follow the recipe and it seems to look like what it is supposed to look like.
The house is a little quieter now. Grandma has been here for almost a week. Brother turned up sunday night and neices turned up the next morning. Brother and neices headed off on their cruise around NZ yesterday. Two days of a full house was a little too full on. Coming down to one mostly self entertaining guest is much nicer.
