Instant strawberry icecream
300g frozen fruit
125g sugar
150 ml thickened cream
Blend.
This was pretty good. It was rather sweet though. I thought it tasted like a liquid pavlova - sugar, cream, strawberry - it just lacked the crunch. I think it would work with a lot less sugar. Or use yoghurt. I have made this sort of thing in the past with low fat yoghurt and as little sugar as possible. The high sugar, high fat version is much nicer but certainly not for everyday.
I have cream leftover from this experiment so tomorrow I think there will be an experiment with cherries and later another with mulberries. I have too much frozen fruit.
