Recipe 3 for 2012

From Jamie's 30 minute meals - Tray baked chicken, squashed potatoes, creamed spinach, strawberry slushie.

In honour of grandma's visit I thought I'd try another JO recipe. I had plenty of strawberries and potatoes so this one seemed an easy choice.

It was one of the easier 30 minute recipes I've done. Boil potatoes, chuck in frypan to finish. Brown chicken, chuck in oven to finish. Spinach wilted then add cream. Strawberries in blender.

It was nice but it wasn't the taste explosion we've had in the past from this cook book. I seem to be saying that a lot now. The first few recipes were miraculous but now my expectations are getting higher. Also, unlike other recipes we've tried in this book, there was only just enough food. Usually we cook a recipe for 4 and get two big dinners out of it. This one fed 4 adults and one child with room left for icecream. It's probably better not to be stupidly stuffed though.

A good feed but not desperately exciting.
