sunday seven

1/ ham! - On the market foraging trip we stopped past Moree Meat. Grandma looked at the hams which I wouldn't normally glance at. Then I took a look at discovered that they were being sold off at less than half the regular price. 5kgs of ham for $20! And it's triffic.

2/ Flight status updates on the interwebs. No more pointless laps at the airport. Grandma's plane was early. I was able to leave early to meet her. Brother's plane is delayed by the storms. I can sit at home and watch the amended arrival times.

3/ a pleasant breakfast party with lovely eggs benedict.

4/ that all my various joints are functioning normally.

5/ new Wii game. I've resisted buy console games in the past but this is keeping us all entertained. Hopefully this level of playing won't last. Well, when holidays end it will become a rationed treat but at the moment it is a good activity to do when hiding inside from the heat.

6/ Dakar rally. I don't know why but I need my annual fix.

7/ happy colourful sock wool. The latest pair are zooming by because of the cheerful colours keeping me amused.
